100 Day Ngondro
With Greg Patenaude and Jon Dilley
January 1 - April 14, 2025
Join us on a Sangha led practice intensive.
Every year for the past ten year, our Sangha has started off the year with a 100 day ngondro practice and studied a text together. This year we are going to be focusing on accumulation. As a Sangha, our goal is to accumulate a total 100,000 prostrations, long Vajrasattva mantra, and mandala offerings, as well as 1 million of the short Vajrasattva mantra and Guru mantras.
That is a big goal in 100 days, but we are confident that as a community we can reach it. For example, if 50 people participate and each do 200 vajra guru mantras a day we will easily hit 1M over the 100 days (we have a shared form to keep track of the totals). These goals gets easier the more people participate, so make sure to sign up!
To supplement our practice we will also be working through sections of Dza Patrul’s Words of My Perfect Teacher. We will be focusing on how to do the practices, why we do them, and addressing any questions that come up.
This practice intensive is for practitioners who are committed to practicing the path as it has been presented by Rinpoche. Each week we will practice together, have weekly readings, group discussions, and senior student led Dharma talks. We welcome new students who are looking to start practicing a genuine path, and experienced students who are committed to their practice and have insight to share.
Practice daily at home and at your own pace. There are weekly group video discussions on Sundays at 6pm CT via Zoom. This will be a practice focused course, with ample opportunity for questions and discussion about the practice.
We hope that you sign up and join us for this collection of merit and wisdom.
